It is a wonderful journey through time that is made up of traces, signs, life stories. The palace that houses SISUITES in Bari dates to 1883 and is entitled to Giuseppe Giordano, the building’s first owner, as it is indicated by the initials engraved on the large entrance door at the keystone of the arch.

Crossing the doorstep, after a last look at the exterior façade with its wide balconies, balustrades and richly decorated central double lancet window, you arrive in the entrance hall with a checkerboard marble floor.

The steps to the left indicate you the way: the flight of stairs with a wrought-iron railing lead to the third floor, but it is on the first floor that our suites are located.  Some of them are still embellished with paintings by the painter Antonio Lanave, a well-known artist of the time, author of several works and decorations in Puglia, including the second curtain of the Piccinni Theatre in Bari.

Thus our history weaves together with that of the entire city: Palazzo Giordano has been for decades the main entrance to the Cinema Galleria founded in 1948, of which the old box offices and the tunnel that led to one of the largest movie theatre in the province are still visible.
